Developmental Reading Assessment 3
The NACS Education Foundation is proud to fund new Developmental Reading Assessments (DRA) for students in grades K–2.
​
These one-on-one assessments help teachers identify each student’s reading strengths, monitor progress over time, and provide targeted instruction based on individual needs.
Most importantly, this investment will impact every kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade student across the district, giving educators the tools to closely track growth and helping young learners build the skills, confidence, and love of reading that will support them for years to come.
Beast Academy
Interactive math problem solving platform for advanced mathematical thinkers.
The NACS Education Foundation is proud to bring Beast Academy to NACS students. This innovative math enrichment program goes beyond traditional instruction by developing problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning skills through engaging challenges and real-world applications.
By investing in Beast Academy, we are helping students build confidence, embrace productive struggle, and develop the skills needed to succeed in school and beyond.

Elevate Grants invest in resources, tools, and opportunities that empower educators to be more effective, impactful, and successful in supporting students. These grants help teachers and staff address specific classroom challenges, enhance instruction, and create meaningful improvements in student learning and engagement. By supporting educator growth and effectiveness, Elevate Grants strengthen the learning experience for students across NACS.
IGNITE
Ignite Grants
Awards up to $2,000
Ignite Grants bring innovative ideas to life by funding creative, hands-on learning experiences that inspire curiosity and deepen student engagement. From STEM and career exploration projects to collaborative classroom initiatives and unique learning opportunities, these grants encourage educators to think boldly and create experiences that spark a passion for learning. Ignite Grants help students explore new possibilities, develop critical skills, and connect classroom learning to the world around them.
