ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Charge Up! Snack Program ensures no student tries to learn on an empty stomach. By partnering directly with schools, the NACS Education Foundation provides nutritious, student-friendly snacks to reduce hunger-related barriers and keep kids focused, engaged, and ready to succeed.

WHY IT MATTERS

When students have access to nutrition throughout the day, they perform better. A simple snack can impact a classroom by:

Boosting Focus: Eliminates hunger-related distractions so students can concentrate.
Supporting Teachers: Provides staff with an immediate, stigma-free way to help a hungry child.
